AACH Statement of Faith
The Alliance of Christian Athletics of Haiti, Inc. is a 501 C-3 non profit
organization organized to further the cause of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the
Republic of Haiti through amateur athletics. AACH, Inc. activities include creating
a network of Christian amateur athletic clubs across Haiti, hosting local,
regional and national amateur athletic competitions, training community leaders
to use athletics as an evangelical tool to reach the youth of Haiti, providing
logistical and capitol support to churches and Christian organizations to build
sports outreach programs, and participating in poverty relief programs.
The Alliance of Christian Athletes of Haiti began serving some 50 children from
three local churches in the capitol city of Port Au Prince. We initially sponsored a
soccer clinic and tournament and from there began to develop the working
sports outreach model we employ today. Our programs are based on the
tireless work of Russ Carr and his staff at Sports Outreach Institute which is now
headed by Rodney Suddith. We now serve communities and churches all over
Haiti and have b ecome Haiti’s premier youth soccer network sponsoring
hundreds of teams and reaching thousands of children with the hope of Jesus
Christ.
1. We believe in one God, creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally
existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
2. We believe the scriptures of the Old Testament and the New Testament to be
verbally inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings and that they are of
supreme and final authority in faith and life.
3. We believe Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of
the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, Mary.
4. We believe that sinful man is lost and can be redeemed only by the shed
blood of Christ through the regeneration of the Holy Spirit. In the bodily
resurrection of the dead: the believer to life everlasting and the unbeliever to
eternal condemnation.
5. We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross and His bodily
resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who
believe, and is not the work, in whole or in part of human works, religious
traditions, or ceremony. Salvation is a direct result of God’s free grace to all
those who believe in Him.
6. We believe It is the privilege and duty of every believer and of every church of
the Lord Jesus Christ to strive to make disciples of all nations. It is the duty of
every child of God to seek to win the lost to Christ by personal effort and by all
other methods in harmony with the gospel of Christ.
7. We believe it is the Christians responsibility to provide for the orphaned, the
needy, the aged, the helpless, and the sick. Every Christian should seek to bring
industry, government and society as a whole under the influence of the
principles of righteousness, truth, and brotherly love. Christians should be
willing to work with all people of good will in any good cause, always being
careful to act in the spirit of love without compromising their loyalty and
conviction to Christ and His truth.
